Meet Camelyn, the pathogen slayer

Many scientists and researchers from around the world concentrate their efforts every day to invent cures for the ailments that afflict us. Pathogens from the micro-world of viruses, bacteria or fungi can effectively make our lives miserable by provoking the development of serious diseases.

In the middle of the last century, Benedikt Maglakelidze invented a health product in Georgia, later named Camelyn. The honey peptide-based drug immediately attracted the interest of local scientists, and in 1950, extensive research on Camelyn began at the K. Eristavi Institute for Experimental and Clinical Surgery in Tbilisi. However, it wasn’t until 1965 that the product received the name, after its effectiveness was proven in multiple scientific studies on mice and humans. Its effectiveness surprises not only consumers, but scientists as well.

Camelyn LTD is one of those companies that can boast a long-standing track record in medical research. It is an independent Georgian scientific and pharmaceutical company headquartered in Tbilisi, Georgia, with subsidiaries on various continents. Although it has been operating in the world since 2004, few people in Poland have heard of Camelyn products. Therefore, in this article I will try to introduce these uncommon Georgian medicinal products.

Heart of honey encapsulated in capsules

Camelyn products are not yet known in the country on the Vistula. This state of affairs is being attempted to change by Krzysztof Dzieciątkowski, general representative for Poland, who argues that “Camelyn products are a cure.” He discovered their curative effects firsthand when he became ill with Covid. In an interview, he revealed that he was hospitalized in serious condition and with poor saturation, where conventional treatment consisting of steroids and antibiotics was administered. He was already using Camelyn M1 inhalation ampoules and Camelyn M2 capsules orally at home; as a result of these measures, his condition began to improve and the patient recovered quickly.

In Camelyn preparations, the leading ingredient is an extract of a unique type of honey extracted from the flowers of a rare type of chestnut tree.

This is not honey in the classic form as we know it. Peptides (with a smaller molecule than proteins) have been extracted from the honey, which can move freely and reach the appropriate cells in our body. The honey has also been stripped of water, or in other words, the essence itself is in the capsules. One Camelyn representative calculated that if we wanted to take the recommended dose of honey peptides, we would have to consume several kilograms of honey.

The world’s only such honey

Camelyn preparations are available in various forms, which are taken as needed. These include capsules, ampoules, suppositories, globules, sprays and ointments, all of which use honey extracted from a rare variety of chestnut blossoms, naturally found in Georgia’s western, pure and mountainous regions. This is the only area in the whole world where beekeepers from local villages obtain this unusual honey by traditional methods. Our readers will certainly be interested in the composition of the honey in question. On the quality certificate issued by the Batumi State University, you can read: honey contains natural carbohydrates. In addition, it contains antioxidants, phenolic compounds, enzymes (invertase, amylase, catalase), amino acids, carotenoids, B vitamins, elemental ions (calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, sodium and zinc).

For whom?

The honey peptides in Camelyn can kill viruses, fungi and bacteria, boost immunity, activate T lymphocytes and help people recover from illnesses. But most interestingly, people who have tried it tell fantastic stories about how they have recovered from cancer or other difficult-to-treat diseases. It is worth remembering, however, that it is a dietary supplement, not a cure for cancer, but numerous testimonies show that there is indeed a direct effect, and not only on cancer, but also on other very serious diseases. In one study, Camelyn peptides were even found to interfere with the integration of the HIV genome into cellular DNA.

How can Camelyn help in the fight against cancer? Cancer cells are not foreign bodies, so they are difficult for the immune system to recognize. Errors in cell division lead to mutations, so potentially cancerous cells are constantly appearing in the body. Camelyn peptides bind to them, helping the immune system recognize cancer cells early. T lymphocytes then get to work, destroying the harmful cells. This principle can prevent cancer or treat a disease that has already begun. This is why such peptides have been talked about so much lately. Camelyn products are dedicated to both sick and healthy people, and can be taken prophylactically and combined with other medications. Honey peptides are natural immunomodulators, beneficially affecting the immune system. The product can help those people who catch colds very easily or who often get bacterial, viral or fungal infections. Honey peptides have a particularly good effect on the elderly, whose immunity weakens with age. The biological activity of this type of honey is very comprehensive, and it has been noted that treatment with Camelyn preparations has improved blood results and cholesterol or glucose values.
